Project Overview
A sunlit café with an open bakery and a leafy courtyard.
A café and bakehouse conceived as a calm neighbourhood room. Arched openings, textured plaster and warm brass details frame an open bakery counter, while a leafy courtyard extends the seating outdoors. Every surface was chosen to age gracefully with daily use.
Design Concept
A relaxed room that feels lived in from day one, with the bakery at its heart.
The Challenge
A heritage shell with low ceilings and limited daylight needed to feel open and welcoming.
Our Approach
We opened up the plan, introduced arched thresholds and a courtyard glazing line, and layered warm, textured finishes.
